The New FamilySearch gives a David Evans and Sarah Greer as the parents of Dorcas here. Some relevant information in my investigations of that possibility are given below:
- http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/read/stewart-dna/2004-06/1087739041 - Says they only had one child, a Nathaniel Evans, who is not given on the FamilySearch website.
- http://www.pcez.com/~glennab/evansfamilyhistory.htm - Provides for 8 children, beginning with Nathaniel, but no Dorcus is included, although an Elizabeth is listed who would match the Lucy given by FamilySearch.
- http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=levans&id=I0275 - Information regarding parents provided. Nothing about their children.
