Maternal Haplogroup Results

Luella Emma Miller

In a test result received in early 2017, from 23andMe, a daughter of one of Luella Emma Miller's daughters was found to be in maternal haplogroup U4b2. Similarly, in late 2017 a son of one of Luella Emma Miller's daughters was tested by 23andMe and was found to have a maternal haplogroup of U4b2.

The ancestral origins report for the granddaughter gave the following data:

Region Proportion
European 100%
  Northwestern European 95.7%
    British & Irish 49.2%
    French & German 15.0%
    Scandinavian 2.6%
    Broadly Northwestern European 28.9%
  Eastern European 1.2%
  Southern European 1.2%
    Italian 0.4%
    Broadly Southern European 0.8%
  Broadly European 1.9%

The ancestral origins report for the grandson gave the following data:

Region Proportion
European 100%
  British & Irish 56%
  French & German 29.6%
  Broadly Northwestern European 13.1%
  Broadly European 1.2%
  Eastern European 0.2%

Dorothy Langdon Ivey

In a test result received in early 2018, from 23andMe, a daughter of one of Dorothy Langdon Ivey's daughters was found to be in maternal haplogroup T2b.

Paternal Haplogroup Results

A son of Marvin Luther Cox, using a test from FamilyTreeDNA in 2010, matched with a large number of lines in J-M172 (also known as J2). A test taken in 2017through 23andMe placed a son of Marvin Luther Cox in haplogroup J-L70 which is a subgroup of J-M172.

Gallinger Test

An autosomal DNA test was taken by Barbara Jean Gallinger through Ancestry DNA.

The ancestral origins report gave the following data:

Region Proportion
Africa 1%
  Africa North 1%
Europe 98%
  Great Britain 57%
  Europe West 32%
  Ireland 6%
  Iberian Peninsula 2%
  Scandinavia <1%
West Asia <1%
  Caucasus <1%
