The 1870 census lists a Zada Janes, and a daughter, Parthenia. It is hard to imagine that Samuel would name a daughter, Parthenia, while married to a Zada, and then after Zada dies shortly thereafter, marry a woman named Parthenia. It is expected that Zada is Parthenia, but it is difficult to prove or confirm or disprove the idea. It might instead be possible that Parthenia was a friend of Zada, and that Zada chose the name, then Zada died and Samuel married Parthenia. Whatever the case may be, more research needs to be done.
