Thomas Joseph Gallinger fancied himself a race horse owner. He had a couple horses he raced, but never did well financially with it. This is, presumably, one of his horses.

- After my grandparents divorced, Thomas went on to try other jobs. At one time he raised horses for the racetrack. I have a picture of him with one of his horses. I'm told they never did very well, but I know love of horses does run in the family now.
