Mother, Jane Axel is giving some trouble. She is widely noted to be the daughter of a Luke Axel, and certainly she seems to have a family relationship distinguished by some measure of dependency. However, it is elsewhere reported that a judgment exists in which Jane is specified to be the widow of Luke Axel. It is not certain then, what her relationship really is. I have not yet been able to find this judgment, however, so not even the relationship of Jane to her father/husband is certain. What sources I am able to find I will make note of below.
