The following record matches the family so well, that others have already jumped to the conclusion that these are our Grays. The one details that stands out as being a bad match is the names of the children. It's plausible that the young parents changed their minds about the names they wanted to use for their kids after this point, but it is an unusual discrepancy. However, it is also odd, that William and Nancy, cannot otherwise be easily found in the 1850 census, when we have every reason to expect them to be here.
