In a test result received in early 2017, from 23andMe, a daughter of one of Luella Emma Miller's daughters was found to be in maternal haplogroup U4b2.

A son of Marvin Luther Cox matched with a large number of lines in J-M172 making it probable that the Cox line is J-M172.
