WILL of William Cox,Jr.  Date  Dec. 26,1801.
  To Wm. and Susanah Baker, children of wife
  Nancy Cox 2 horses, and other personalty to
  wife
Executor: William Cox, Sr.
Witnesses David Chadwell, David Colson and Benj. Cloud.

Transcription of Will

In the name of God Amen -
I William Cox Jun'r of Lee County of State
Virginia, being sick and weak in body but of sound
mind & memory do make and ordain this my
Last will and Testament in manner and
form as follows - first I give and bequeath
to William and Susanna Baker Childrens of my wife
Nancy Cox a certain sorrel mare nam.'d peg & also
my Bay Horse - secondly my grey mare to
my Father - thirdly I give to my wife Nancy
a young sorrel mare * also my Cattle Hogs
and House hold furniture and all my working
Tools - next I do make ordain and apoint my
Father * William Cox sen'r Executor of William &
Susanna Baker and impower him to sell
the Cretures I gave them by the first of March
next at publick sale giving eightteen mound(?)
Credit - the money when collected to be put
out on interist till Children become of
age - in testamony whereof I have
hereunto set my name and seal this
26th day of December 1801
