Source:Will of William Cox, Sr.
This Abstract of the will of William Cox, Sr. was obtained from the Library of Virginia. The record is on microfilm and can be found with the following record information:
Part of index to Lee County Wills and Administrations (1794 - 1832)
Will written 7 Jan 1820.
Misc. Wills, 1794-1832 (Reel 13)
The abstract, which can be found with other abstracts in the "list of Abstracts" near the beginning (Acting much like a Table of Contents). The actual will is, unfortunately, missing from the microfilmed record and, in fact, the abstract was only found by stumbling upon it accidentally, while searching haphazardly for William Cox, Jr.'s will in the same record. A search for "Cox, William" in the library's database shows that William Cox, Sr.'s will is not mentioned.
